Today’s Program - Cpt. Thomas Sowers Ambassadorial Scholar Program.
Last Week’s
Program
Richard (Rich) Giuliani, Interact Coordinator & Shop & Art Instructor, H.F.F.M. School System. Rich gave an interesting overview of the interact program within the school district. He also showed some of the craftsmanship of the woodworking students. The school district is just beginning its “penny wars” as we conclude ours. Rich built the set now being used in the musical “Fiddler On The Roof!”
A great feeling was encountered by all as Seth Hudgins entered the meeting. Great to see you back, Seth!
Some sad news: Curt Brewer informed the members that Doris Hiester, the wife of our club founder Ret. B.G Dave Heister, AOG class of ’36 (deceased) passed away on March 28th. (Doris & Dave were at Pearl Harbor on 12/07/41).
Worth repeating! Jerry Sheehan said that May12th is the Blooming Grove/Washingtonville Dinner dance; Jerry also reiterated that two local soldiers were killed in Iraq, and one female from Pennsylvania. They will be included in Jerry’s funding for their families via Rotary.
Phil Brillante’s Safety Tip: Be careful when riding bikes! Roads are still not clean. Wear proper clothing.
