LTC Joe Felter, Director of the Combatting Terrorism Center – The Center was founded to provide future leaders with the intellectual tools to defeat terrorism through Cadet education and research into terrorism and counter terrorism. He emphasized that one terrorist goal is to disrupt financially. He said that the Jihadi vision for victory is the year 2020. Col. Felter also discussed Homeland Security while providing an excellent slide program.

Phil Brillante’s weekly safety reminder was a stark awakening to death on the highways! With the travelling seasons upon us, more vehicles will be on these highways. Safe driving is paramount to prevent premature deaths from accidents, which are the #1 cause of death! They outweigh suicide, assault, shark attack & drinking water deaths.

Theatre Party: Time marches on and the theatre/dinner events approaches rapidly. Thoroughly Modern Millie” arrives on Sunday, May 7^th 2006 in Eisenhower Hall”. All members are requested to lend a hand with this event. Get your reservations checks and gifts to be donated in A.S.A.P.

The Holy Innocents Church thrift shop will be operating every Thurs. 10 am to 1 pm.

The Holy Innocents food pantry, 2nd & 4^thWednesday of month.

Sacred Heart Thrift Shop open 10am – 2pm; (4:30 Thursdays.)

Rotary Club of Fishkill - The Fishkill Club’s 5^th Annual Softball Tournament will be held on May 7^th. at Robert Shepheard Memorial Park in Fishkill. All proceeds go to “Operation Smile”. For further info call: 845-896-4803.) Mark Klein, Chairman.
