Rotary Last Week – April 14th

Charles Frankel, President of the New Windsor/Cornwall club gave an informative breakdown of his club. Charlie, a native of Beacon, N.Y. and a Rotary member for 5 years is an Attorney dealing in real estate. There are 30 members of his club. The signature events of the club are: Christmas baskets assembled before Xmas and delivered. Also, a ‘300’ club fundraiser at $100 per, with a top prize of $10, 000! (Nice.)

Hudson Valley Spec. Olympics – May 7^th.

Group Study – (Brochures attach’d.) Also, Exch. Students arriving from England.

RYLA – Leadership awards (2), Mt. St. Mary’s in June.

District 7210 48^th Ann. Conference – May 13-15 at Villa Roma Resort. Centennial B’day.

Phil Brillante – Penny war netted over $700.

Also on safety, Phil mentioned lighting conditions, as well as older & wiser drivers!

The Holy Innocents Church thrift shop will be operating every Thurs. 10 am to 1 pm. The Holy Innocents food pantry, 2nd & 4^th Wednesday’s of month.

Sacred Heart Thrift Shop open 10am – 2pm; (4:30 Thursdays.)
