Rotary Last Week, November 17th

This was a business meeting, and much was conducted. Judy Ferguson presented a certificate from the Feinstein Foundation for the club’s support in food contributions.

The Santa Project! The club members will be contributing gifts, toys etc. to a mother & four children in the Orange County Safe Homes Project Wish List. (See flyer)

Steve Scott displayed the exchanged banners from the Brazilian exchange students who were visiting. (A great Job was done by both Harold Spaeth & Steve Scott with the hosting of these students.)

Dave Weyant announced that the Salvation Army Bell Ringing will be on December 17^th & 18^th at the Key Food store in Highland Fls.

Buddy Blackman announced there will be a special meeting on Dec. 17^th re: Student Group Exchange.

Speakers Needed! All members are asked to submit information on possible speakers and programs! Please submit this ASAP to Dave Monroe.

Get Ready: Shirley Bonsell reports that the Holiday Luncheon will be on December 15^th. See Shirley’s flyer!

Phil Brillante’s Safety News: – Phil spoke on his recent assignment in Mississippi with FEMA

He also advised all to be aware of ice on windshields on these chilly mornings.

Diana Cole: Diana has a wish list for the District Katrina fund. (Good job, Diana!)

Gus Fishburne – Gus’s heading up a committee of past presidents for selection of new club officers.

Theatre Party: Again, the theatre party is TO BE RE-SCHEDULED! New arrangements to be announced soon!

The Holy Innocents Church thrift shop will be operating every Thurs. 10 am to 1 pm.

The Holy Innocents food pantry, 2nd & 4^thWednesday of month.

Sacred Heart Thrift Shop open 10am – 2pm; (4:30 Thursdays.)

Jerry Sheehan’s Pushcart - Jerry says:
