Rotary Last Week, December 1, 2005

LTC William Adams, Center for Enhanced Performance, USMA, gave a most enlightening dissertation on the programs designed for the development of the Corps of Cadets. This includes programs, both academic and athletic, as well as self control, balance & stability. Its goals are to develop leadership! This was a great program, which left the idea that our military is in good hands!

The Santa Project! “He’s coming and we’re him!” The club members will be contributing gifts, toys etc. to a mother & four children in the Orange County Safe Homes Project Wish List.

Dave Weyant again announced that the Salvation Army Bell Ringing will be on December 17^th & 18^th at the Key Food store in Highland Fls. (Warm up your elbows!)

Speakers Needed! All members are asked to submit information on possible speakers and programs! (See handout!) Please submit this ASAP to Dave Monroe.

Get Ready: Shirley Bonsell reports that the Holiday Luncheon will be on December 15^th.

Ren Wallen’s Annual Nativity Presentation: Friday, Dec 9th. 2005 at 7:00 pm.

Gus Fishburne – Gus’s heading up a committee of past presidents for selection of new club officers.

Theatre Party: Still in limbo!

The Holy Innocents Church thrift shop will be operating every Thurs. 10 am to 1 pm.

The Holy Innocents food pantry, 2nd & 4^thWednesday of month.

Sacred Heart Thrift Shop open 10am – 2pm; (4:30 Thursdays.)
