Rotary Last Week – May 26th

Bob Broadhurst, President of the Blooming Grove/ Washingtonville club & District Chairman of Rotary’s group study exchange program, spoke about the program & coming events:

From Sept. 1 to Sept. 30 there will be a group of Students arriving from England. Also, he’s looking for qualified candidates to travel to Greece & Bulgaria in May ’06. Also, next spring students will be travelling from Bulgaria to our shores! (See brochures)

President Roy Spells presented Cadet Rusty Issacs with the Rotary “Service Above Self” certificate award.

Phil Brillante – Phil unleashed his heavy artillery against last week’s “tick” invasion by displaying a scissor-like tweezer with built in magnifying glass. It properly removes the critters

if they get under your pets’ skin. (Or yours!) (Great tool, with informative flyer!)

Rev. Judy Ferguson of The Holy Innocents Church thrift shop needs help on Saturday, June 4^th from 11am – 3pm (401 Main St., H. Falls) to pick up furniture & household goods at

a home in West Point. Also, please don’t forget the food pantry! Thank you much!
