Today’s Greeter - Rick Metro
Today’s Program - David Green, Rotarian & Orange County Commissioner of Elections
Last Week’s
Program
Jason Lynch introduced Mindy Kimball, who spoke on “The Climate Project”, a detailed breakdown on the Global Warming that is having a rapid and destructive effect on this planet. The Arctic ice caps are melting, the sea level is rising, and as a result wildlife is suffering from these conditions. The Ozone layer has been thinned due to the gases produced on the planet. What can we do to curtail these happenings? Great program!
Dave Monroe hosted the meeting.
Steve Scott announced that a possible O’Neill graduate this year is eligible for a scholarship.
It was sadly announced that Shirley Bonsell’s Mom passed away last week.
Phil Brillante once again stressed a need for safety glasses when doing certain jobs, such as grinding. He said these glasses could sometimes be obtained through employers at reduced rates.
Phil also said the Interact “penny wars” are now ongoing, and urges all to bring your pennies, both this and next week.
