This was a Business Meeting.

Jerry Sheehan said that the group study exchange is at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel on March 24th, (1 day):  May12th is the Blooming Grove/Washingtonville Dinner dance; Jerry also reiterated that two local soldiers were killed in Iraq, and one female from Pennsylvania. They will be included in Jerry’s funding for their families via Rotary.

Phil Brillante wasn’t present, but; with our unique mind reader capabilities, I ascertained he was thinking “Drive Safely: Roads are still icy at times. Also he said the Interact “penny wars”

are over.  This was the last week to turn in your “coppers.  (“Who asked for your two cents?)

 

Update on What’s  Doing ‘round Rotary ?

Sick members: Seth Hudgins is out of the hospital.

Dinner Theatre. The date and time of this event is:  Saturday, May 19 at 8:00 p.m.   (See flyer)                                          

Prez Jerry reports the following:

Iraq Group Study Exchange: 4/23

Glen Arden Conference: 4/25

5/4 (New Zealand), Poughkeepsie;

5/6 – Softball; 5/12 Blooming Grove Dance.

Prez Jerry also said that the “Around Rotary” article by Kent & Dave will appear shortly. (Great job!)

John McLellan said that Vision is looking for Directories for parents of Cadets. (Restaurants, Churches, etc.)

Holy Innocents Thrift Shop will be Operating every Thurs. 10 am to 1 pm.

The Holy Innocents food pantry, 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month.

Sacred Heart Food Pantry & Thrift Shop Open 10am – 2pm.

(Money will supplement food donations.)
