Rotary Last Week –  Business Meeting

President Cathy Kelly  - Said that St. Marks is attempting to refurbish its steeple. A check has been cut for this. She also said that all Rotary members are considered to be community leaders. President Cathy also discussed  the District conference held this past weekend. It was both social and informational and as mentioned before, it was great to get to know members of the clubs.

She said District Governors do work for Rotary International, such as exchange students.

President Cathy also “pinned” new member Don Segaria at his swearing in ceremony. Roy Spells also was presented with a handsome “sombrero” at the meeting. (Or was this a holdover from

the district conference?)

Reminder – There have been 22 responses for shirts, etc. See.Gerry Sheehan so he knows what items you want.

Community Closet – Old unusable clothes  are being collected at 34 N. Plank Road, Newburgh. Bring any type old overcoat to the next meeting for collection. (Help keep someone warm this winter!)
