Last Week’s Program

This was a business meeting: Much was discussed including; Josh Brewer’s children’s placed; Roy Spells’ Guatemala Literacy, and Don Sagaria’s “Walk of Fame”.

And again, the membership was informed that the new weather calenders are in and will be distributed shortly. They boldly display our club’s name as well as great pictures. They will sell for $7.00 per. Dave Weyant suggested that the club rent a table at the upcoming Fall Foliage Festival, Oct. 14 in Highland Falls, and sell them there. A vote showed all in favor of doing this!

New Roster: A new roster is in the works and will be ready shortly. If you need anything changed, let Steve Scott know ASAP.

Phil Brillante’s tip last week: This is National Preparedness Month! Secure a pamphlet from Orange County, “Be Prepared.” (Indian Point Preparedness.)

Don Sagaria said that a cough or a deep breath taken might prevent a heart attack if you suspect one is occurring.
